How much does therapy cost? Is insurance accepted?

Individual therapy will cost $180 per session and couples therapy will cost $250. I currently accept the following insurance: Aetna, Cigna, and Optum. A sliding scale is available upon request for those paying out of pocket in need of a reduced fee that is dependent upon your situation.

What will therapy look like?

During our weekly sessions, whether you are seen individually or as a couple, we will explore the sources of pain, hurt, trauma, or conflict in your current situation, identify and build upon your strengths, what you've been doing right, and expand on what's been working so that you can get back on track to embrace your inner light.

My job as your therapist is to support you and help you achieve your goals, gain insight into your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships, and learn new ways to cope with whatever struggle made you seek out therapy.  The duration of this process largely depends on the complexity of your situation and your commitment and readiness for change.

Therapy will be provided over a secure video platform and will typically last 50 to 60 minutes per session.

What models of therapy do I use?

I use a strength based, holistic, and integrative approach to therapy. I utilize various modalities based on the client's needs including evidenced based practices of cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and emotionally focused therapy with couples.
